Most successful training programs designed for the future have one thing in common. They have more of Facilitation and less of prescription or knowledge sharing. Which means, they are more Practical, Hands On, Experiential, Collaborative, Interactive and Participative. The leading authority in the world when it comes to Facilitation is the International Association of Facilitators.
As the International Association of Facilitators puts it:
“Facilitation is a profession rapidly taking its unique place alongside those of consulting and training.”
The International Association of Facilitators (IAF) was formed by a group of professionals desiring an avenue for interchange, professional development, trend analysis and peer networking. Incorporated in Minnesota, U.S.A., the IAF encourages and supports the formation of local groups of facilitators to network and provide professional development opportunities for their members and helps promote the profession of facilitation as a critical set of skills in the global society of the 21st century.
Bodhih also has access to the Tools, Techniques and Resources that are constantly created and updated by the IAF and their Facilitation Journal. These state of the art tools and techniques are incorporated in the Train The Trainer Certification Workshop and shared with participants.
